Terms of Service — DRAFT v0.1 (2026-07-04)
Draft version. Under legal review before official launch.
1. Who we are
OIDCheck ("the Platform"), operated by MY PATH S.R.L., a company registered in Iași, Romania, provides a public directory of organisations participating in Erasmus+ youth projects and hosts reviews written by their former project partners.
2. Accounts
- Accounts are for organisations active in Erasmus+ (one account per person, linked to one organisation identified by its OID).
- You must verify your email address. You are responsible for your account.
- We may suspend accounts used for fake reviews, impersonation, or abuse.
3. Reviews
- A review must relate to a specific, real Erasmus+ project (identified by its grant agreement number) in which the reviewed organisation participated.
- One review per author organisation, per reviewed organisation, per project.
- Reviews are moderated before publication. We may reject content that is defamatory, discloses personal data, is unrelated to professional cooperation, or appears fraudulent.
- Mutual-review holdback: your review may be held unpublished until the other party submits theirs or 14 days pass, whichever comes first.
- You warrant that your review reflects your organisation's genuine experience.
4. Anonymity — and its limits
- Published reviews do not display the author or the author's organisation.
- The Platform knows the author's identity (verified account). We disclose it only when required by law or a binding court/authority order.
- Given the small size of project consortia, we cannot guarantee that a reviewed organisation will not infer authorship from context.
5. Right of reply
A verified representative of a reviewed organisation may publish one official reply per review. Replies are moderated under the same content rules.
6. Reporting illegal content (DSA)
We operate a notice-and-action mechanism (see oidcheck.eu/report). Reports are reviewed promptly; both the reporter and the review author are informed of the decision, and decisions can be contested. Point of contact: legal@oidcheck.eu.
7. Tokens and payments
- Publishing a validated review earns 1 token. Unlocking full access to an organisation's profile costs 1 token and lasts 30 days.
- Tokens can be purchased (pricing at oidcheck.eu/pricing). Tokens are not money, are non-refundable except as required by law, and expire with your account.
8. Organisation profiles ("Claim")
Claiming a profile requires proof of affiliation (matching email domain, website verification code, or a signed mandate). Misrepresentation leads to removal and account suspension.
9. Data sources
Project and organisation data originates from public European Commission sources (Erasmus+ Project Results Platform). We are not affiliated with, nor endorsed by, the European Commission.
10. Disclaimers
- Reviews are the personal opinions of their authors, not statements of fact by MY PATH S.R.L. We verify that an author is a genuine Erasmus+ participant connected to the project reviewed; we do not independently verify the truth of each statement.
- The Platform and its partner-matching suggestions are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Matching results are informational only and are not a recommendation about, or a guarantee of the conduct of, any organisation.
11. Limitation of liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, MY PATH S.R.L. is not liable for: (a) content posted by users, including reviews and replies; (b) any decision you take based on reviews, ratings, or matching suggestions; (c) interruption, loss or corruption of data, or security incidents caused by third-party providers, unlawful access, or events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure); (d) indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of opportunity, revenue, or reputation.
- Our total aggregate liability, where it cannot be excluded, is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights under consumer-protection and data-protection law. We remain responsible as data controller for personal data we hold, regardless of the disclaimers above.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on the Platform. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
Romanian law; courts of Iași, Romania. EU consumer rights are unaffected.
